the mountain bike rental was a great way to explore the area. the bathroom needed a facelift.

I was disappointed that the restaurant menu didn't include more local cuisine. it felt quite limited during my 7-night stay. Additionally, it would have been more enjoyable if there was an earlier and later shuttle service to/from the beach. The lack of a variety in beach snacks throughout the week made it less inviting.

lush tropical paradise, charming local monkey troop, various unique seating areas
The restaurant menu could definitely improve with more local cuisine selections!!! Additionally, the shuttle bus schedule should have earlier and later options for better beach access. Not ideal for those eager to dip in the ocean!!!

I had an incredible three-night stay, especially enjoying the beautiful grounds and the delicious lobster benedict at breakfast. Just a slight downside was the need for bathroom updates, but I’d absolutely return!

Exceptional Staff and Beautiful Grounds!
My stay was a true delight! The lush grounds were beautifully maintained, and I loved that every area had its unique charm. The breakfast was particularly impressive, featuring an extensive menu with an amazing juice selection and homemade yogurt. The warm welcome with a hand-written note and fresh flowers in the room was a lovely touch. My only suggestion would be to improve sound insulation in certain bungalow areas.

great experience with minor room hiccup
The service was impeccable! From the warm welcome with a rum punch to the friendly staff who checked in on us daily, it made us feel truly valued. The pool area exceeded expectations. it was beautifully designed and perfect for relaxation. Also, the shuttle to the private beach was very convenient, allowing us to enjoy both the hotel amenities and the stunning ocean.
However, the room could use some updates to ensure a more comfortable stay.

I absolutely loved my time at Montpelier Plantation & Beach. The gardens around the property are stunning and meticulously maintained. I enjoyed every morning with a beautiful view and fresh flowers in my room. The breakfast spread helped kick off my day with a variety of delicious options, highlighting local flavors. I indulged in the lobster benedict that was out of this world. The pool area was an ideal place to relax after days at the private beach, which felt like my personal oasis. I appreciated the authentic touches, like the hand-written welcome note. One evening, the beach barbecue created a perfect atmosphere, enhanced by warm hospitality. I did notice some noise from adjoining rooms, especially from the AC units, which slightly disrupted the tranquil ambiance. It would be fantastic if they could address sound insulation in the bungalows. Despite that, every staff member made a genuine effort with greetings and small conversations, which created a warm and inviting environment. Cosmo, the resort dog, added a special element to my stay as well. Definitely planning to return soon!
